Breaking Barriers: WEE-North Graduate Licensed by Energy Commission

Grace Wumbei, a determined young woman from Yendi in Northern Ghana, once questioned whether her ambition to become an electrician would be accepted by her community. Despite these doubts, she enrolled in the WEE-North initiative, choosing to specialize in Electrical Installation through its Training to Employment pathway at Dabopka Technical Institute. After completing her technical education, she gained hands-on experience at the Volta River Authority in Tamale.
